My biggest concern over organisations like the ACS is that only 1/2 of the money raised goes to "charity" the other half pays for advertising, admin, direct charity marketing and hats.
I feel more serious about cancer and other health issues and vote accordingly. The only way to get all the money to where it is supposed to be is to cut out the middle man. I'm also strongly opposed to obituaries that do not state reason of death. Wouldn't that cut out the need for most of the marketing if every day you actually read about what killed each and every person, instead of some pointless platitudes?
