I know a woman who survived breast cancer and she attributed it to Jesus. I asked her what stage of breast cancer she had when it was caught, and she said that it was IIB. Apparently, the chances of surviving breast cancer in that stage is 74% (5-year survival rate). It often doesn't even come down to the probability of the event, they are taught that Jesus "saves" them and they think that he literally "saves" them from disease, as well.
