the scouts in the uk are a very religious organisation. they are often run by churches and have church parade on sundays. when i was a scout we had to carry flags into the church and participate in the service.
when the big responsibility to carry the (heavy) flag was my turn, i managed to hit the vicker over the head with the flag and take a chunk out of the ceiling. im so proud.
