Sean Faircloth:
Attack of the Theocrats!
I don't know about Great Britain, but here in Canada medical school programs are EXTREMELY difficult to get into, even for students with very high GPAs. The testing, screening and interview process is exhaustive. In short, they are looking for the right kind of individual. I know this because a good friend of mine is a doctor who sits on the admissions board for one of our university medical schools. The solution to this is simple. Determine what their attitudes are regarding evolutionary science is BEFORE they are admitted. Make it one of the criteria for admission. This does not constitute a dsiscrimination based on religious freedom. It is simply a way of determining suitability to this most rigorous profession.
