I want to feel bad for this guy, but why did this guy go the middle east willingly? That would be akin to me going into the projects at 2 AM, nothing good is going to come of it.

I found this another news site, "Mr Almaribe arrived in Australia in 1999 from Iraq as a refugee and brought his family over in 2006."

"Apparently he was in Medina with a group of fellow Shiites…and he was quoting out of a book which insulted the Prophet Muhammad’s companion. This is how it’s being described. Apparently this is a deeply offensive thing to do in the Medina apparently for people of Sunni Islamic philosophy or religion.

I'm not sure there can be any reasoning with people like this. Until Saudi Arabia hasn't any oil left, we'll still have to deal with them; and if they didn't have so much of the oil, nobody would be putting up with this savagery.

We don't need their oil, rather the international corporations need it to support the failure venture that is the global economy. We actually need to start getting off it ASAP.
