I agree with comments 2 & 3.
One of the features of a closed evangelical mind, is the assertion of a view and attempting to inflict it on others, as a means of reinforcing its own belief. It is like "proof" by repetitive chanting, to the irrational mind. I suggest you simply ignore her arguments, refuse to discuss them, and do not give her the opportunity to assert them. You can still decline to participate in silly ceremonies.
