A question I would like to ask the "Christian nation" folks is: Where in the Constitution is a 'national archbishop' specified? And, of course, from which denomination would he hail?

I would never suggest that the US Federal Govt. is a religous body. It isn't in any way and I'm glad for that. But to be fair, it should be acknowledged that the US is largely a 'Nation of Christians', even if we tend to be Biblically illiterate. I, for one, have a certain pride that I have never actually read a bible in whole or in part. (Though I've had parts of the bible quoted to me from atheists more then any other source!)

Anyway, it would be silly to claim American Culture hasn't been influenced by Christianity.
