I was really trying hard not to cry when I was reading this article. When I got to the "Farewell..." part though, I couldn't control my tears anymore..
We all love you Christopher. You were indeed the symbol and dignity of atheism. The only difference now, I think, is that now Dawkins is the voice and symbol of atheism. And from the bottom of my heart, I really hope that Dawkins lives for another 20 years. There is no one to replace these two legends..
Farewell, great voice. Great voice of reason, of humanity, of humour. Great voice against cant, against hypocrisy, against obscurantism and pretension, against all tyrants including God. Farewell Hitchens!
