Thanks for making that spectacular lecture into a book! Richard's Afterword is just sublime in itself and a reason to get the book. One afterword from Dawkins is worth a million books from sophisticated theologians, and I wish the book will open the eyes of the wilfully blind.
Some sort of sadness comes over me reading that Christopher was to ill to write the preface. Oh how I wished he had been well enough! Christopher's question and answer in Vantity Fair was "Why me? - the cosmos barely bothers to return the reply: Why not?" Now, here's a book to explain why that is the anwer.
