I'm sure RD would have changed his piece in light of your criticism had it not already been published.
I note RDs request for reviews of the translations of his books in his quest to find better translators for future editions.
I'm sure the internet can help in any strive towards perfection, just not sure how to tune out the noise that will inevitably come with it.
