I am still puzzled by the way that these people seem unaware that this prayer, posted in a public school, is so obviously illegal in their country. The various online polls on the issue, the ones that haven't been got at by PZ Meyers, show a more or less even split between those who agree and those who disagree with the judges decision. Not only do they appear to be ignorant of a really well known part of their country's constitution, but also ignorant of the reasons why it is so important.

Maybe this is one more reason for atheists to come out and be counted, when Christians realise that in the near future they may well be in the minority, they may start considering constitutional protection of religious freedom to be important.
