I’ll share an experience with you all….
I grew up in Michigan, and I attended a public school system (in the US sense, so the school received gobs of tax sourced funding). By the time I graduated from high school I had experienced, several times, teachers ministering to students during class sessions. I specifically remember one incident when a teacher informed a full classroom that a major milestone in life is when you prepare your Christian soul for death. I had zero – and I mean zero – exposure to the scientific basis for evolution. I’m gob-smacked that Michigan was granted a “C”.
Thankfully my undergraduate program was a bit more in touch.
