Feels odd to say I had never before encountered that first video. Given its age, I found it remarkably well made. I wonder how they created it?
I showed the scale of the universe to a christian friend a couple of months ago, and he was blown away. Now, it didn't change his opinion on christianity, but it's the simplest way to put humanity in perspective, and it demands you to ask questions.
What strikes me is the ignorance. He is 26 years old, yet had no idea our solar system belonged to a galaxy. Though he thinks I'm ignorant for not seeing the world was obviously created by his deity.
