Problem with this survey is that it did not compare the beliefs of those who regular attend church and call themselves Christians and those who do not regular attend but still call themselves Christians. My suspicion is that there won't be that much difference.
It might be that the only people for whom belief is really important are the 'true' believers and religious hierarchies and ironically the 'true' non believers. The rest of us seem to be rather more pragmatic.
