Personally I think we are alone,just my opinion. To me it seems reasonable to assume that life is an incredibly unlikely event to occur, so out of the billions of planets that could support life,there are still many hurdles to overcome for life to happen. Also the age of the Universe(14 billion years- ish) to me seems to be about the right age for Life to happen one time around,12 billion years for random events to fall into place,2 billion years for life to become multicellular......my wife disagrees,she thinks life must be else where. we are both non-theist.
