On The War on Terror, I'd agree with Richard there, the archbishop has concerns about the killing of an unarmed man, but considering all the deaths that had gone before, linked to Bin Laden, did it really matter whether he was armed or not?

What would be justice, capture him alive, haul him in front of a court, then send him to prison for the rest of his days, at the taxpayer expense

Well, yes. That basic standard of justice was good enough for the Nazi War Criminals, whose atrocities far outweighed Bin Ladens.
