I just watched Thunderf00t's video that you linked to, and the good news is that the removed videos now have been reinstated after the moderators reviewed the case.
Rules about protecting and honoring religious sensitivity are, needless to say, never a good idea. We must hope this was just a slip-up, but we should keep a watchful eye for future developments. Censorship in the big social networks is already haywire, e.g. facebook's idiotic "no nudity" policy, preventing open discussion about breast cancer!
