First off I would like to say that I've taken several classes from Dr. Peter Boghossian and he is one of the most inspiring and dynamic professors I have had. Being a professor is not just a job to him but a way to reach students and challenge them. There are many professors that refuse to challenge their students outright but Dr. Boghossian does it respectfully and in a way that makes you really think about your beliefs. He has inspired many students over the years -- this includes helping them "loose their faith."

On to the talk given -- this was talk was fantastic! He delivered it in a way that the "take-home message" was easily understood. Though it may seem that it was not the caliber that you would expect it was designed that way to have it easily understood and it was for people that maybe aren't in academia but these concepts put forth can help them. It really is an uncontroversial message -- there are better ways of coming to a conclusion than faith based ways.

What makes this talk helpful is that it's not just for people who already understand the arguments for/against faith but it's for people that maybe are on the outskirts where they just aren't sure.
