I try to avoid all conversations with people who believe in a "personal God." You cannot win an argument with those people, because they don't play by the same rules as logical people. Yeah, you will objectively win the argument, but they will come out thinking that they are the winners, because they are morons. However, I do converse with people who either believe in a form of "Einstein's God" or a deist God. Although I do not believe in this form of God, because there isn't enough evidence to believe in it, the concept of a God whose only job was to define the laws of physics or God simply being the laws of physics, is much more plausible than a God who impregnates bronze age Jews. Those forms of God are plausible hypotheses to me. I don't believe in those hypotheses, because there is no evidence to support them. Therefore, I consider myself an atheist.
