There will be groups in the UK and other countries trying the same kinds of things. Watch out!

The Americans seem to do this sort of thing better than the Brits, but there is an insidious initiative being targeted at UK schools by Test of Faith:

This is an exciting venture led by Chip Kendall, former lead singer of thebandwithnoname, with DJ Galactus Jack and a scientist provided by Test of FAITH. Events include music, video, live science experiments and a short talk from a scientist. They have run at least two events at state schools, after hours.

Test of Faith is not a neutral investigation of science and religion, but a Christian proselytising project, linked to the Faraday Institute at Cambridge University, which is, surprise, surprise, funded by the Templeton Foundation.

For example, the Test of Faith documentary trailer says this:

Both science and Christianity are pursuits of truth, and truth should mesh with truth.

And here, under Titles and Objectives:

To understand that science and religion are both engaged in a search for different aspects of truth but are working in different ways and from particular viewpoints.

It's Christian apologetics, using this bogus new subject of 'science and religion' to co-opt some of the credibility of science to spread its credulity-inspired tentacles.
