This reminds me of when I was at a catholic primary and junior school. We were taught that there was no salvation outside catholicism. When I was about 17(and already a disbeliever) I suggested to an ill educated Irish priest that evolution was more than obvious. When he disagreed I remarked that he knew very little about evolution and should study it more seriously. I was cautioned by Brother Terrence the headmaster for my "disrespect".
