Breathtaking stupidity from a usually wise man. The death throes of christianity perhaps and he as a literary scholar realises it too. He has made a foolish statement about reason and scientific method not being the primary source of knowledge. I for one have had quite enough subjection to revealed nonsense and am disappointed in him but I have been slowly distancing myself from his high brow presentations of late anyhow without it being a conscious move. I find myself automatically changing channel when he appears these days...
