Attack of the Theocrats!
Richard got me thinking much more about this. It seems to me that an institution or club so to speak generally does not involve an indoctrination that can cause distress like religion. The boy scouts may teach you about tolerance, upstanding behavior that serves your fellow man, and maybe some good knot tying instruction but generally it is nothing that is going to damage you for life. My point is the effort, albeit a messy one, would be a new confrontation that could go to the courts with the expressed opinion that internal conflict/distress is a possibility regarding these religious clubs that are purported as harmless. I do not have the means and wherewithal to do it but I hope that maybe someone else does.
Richards one point alone in his post of the school yard encounter is proof enough that conflict can arise to my way of thinking.
