We don't know what marriage means in that community. Is this the only case? What do other victims of rape (there) think about this kind of punishment? Hard to judge not knowing anything about their way of life. It is a tragedy what happened there, but that's all we can say. It is typical for people from America or from England to judge easily other cultures because they don't know anything about them. That's how you become a (neo)colonialist.
