It happens here in the UK too. A Young Earth creationist science teacher has boasted that he went to the school's Christian Union club after school and told his pupils that what they'd been taught in class was wrong: it was just for the exams. He then went on to contradict his science lessons with anti-science creationism. So need to bring in outsiders, there are teachers who do it.
