People might see it that way, but science is much more restrictive than that once you introduce confidence. Meaning 'how hard have you tried to break the idea' as opposed to 'how strongly do you have faith in it'?

I also take objection to his saying the Left went too far in calling America a racist country in the 1960s. America was a racist country back in the 1960s. How is speaking the truth 'going too far'?

Though I understand his point about alienating conservatives, I don't remember hearing any helpful alternatives.
