I'm starting to wonder if the victims aren't to blame for demonstrating insufficient revenge. Where the hell is the revenge? If you let people get away with something, they continue to do it. They steal children, rape children, castrate children and the authorities make no serious effort to do anything about it; actually, they help. When you're on your own, fuck hot or cold, just serve up some fucking revenge. Maybe they'll take it seriously when my hero finally snaps.
