There I was reading all about Attack of the Theocrats, and I thought "does Sean Faircloth's observation that US lawmaking is lousy with unconsidered religious privilege really hold water?" I mean, we don't really hear about it on this side of the pond. Which I would expect to were that the case.

Then I flicked to another website and saw this

Yup, looks like Sean is onto something all right. And probably hasn't over-egged the pudding with regard to the sex chapter either, given that anti-sex religious laws are pretty much the only things we ever here about outside the Benighted States of America.
