Religions rely on serial denigration of mankind via the subjugation of intellect and human morals to the authority of conjured supernatural entities. Many of these entities are depicted as powerful and vengeful, to be feared more than any other threats, seen or unseen. Atheists do the loving work of helping terrified people to overcome their irrational fears while improving their self esteem. It is difficult and usually thankless work but we owe it to our brothers and sisters.
