What??? Maybe it's not religious dogmatic "morality", but all the professional codes of ethics and codes of conduct I know, have been "intelligently designed", and based on a consensus of informed opinion, regarding the consequences of following or disregarding those requirements.. Codes of conduct are often transformed into law and regulations, to provide enforcement and sanctions, against people who disregard them.
Voluntary codes of conduct which can be disregarded with impunity, while miscreants laugh (or cry), all the way to the bank, are no use to the rest of the community.
Similarly those which have been high-jacked by theist dogmas for slavish discrimination against non-cult members, are no use either.
