Do we all serve the cult of Dawkins?

What on earth do you mean? This is "The Richard Dawkins Foundation for Science and Reason" how could advertising an upcoming event featuring the afore mentioned Richard Dawkins be anything other than obvious. Are you suggesting that it is RDF's responsibility to advertise all and every event, TV show, debate and conversation on Science and Reason, sounds unreasonable to me.

When I visit the cute kittens web site am I "serving the cult of" kittens or have you just no understanding of the word cult, or serving, or all?

If you have been on this web site before or have any idea what it concerns itself with (hint; it's in the title) why do you say such nonsensical things?

NO ONE IS SERVING LET ALONE ALL AND CLEARLY IT'S NOT A CULT.

I'm not complaining about the promotion of a program that features Richard. I have no problem with that. I just find it a bit much, seeing the calibre of the previous episodes that they didn't do a piece on the series instead of focussing on the single episode.

I just get the feeling that the site is sometimes used a bit to much for the Glorification of everything Dawkins and not enough on Science and Reason.

Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of the man but, take for example the launch of The Magic of Reality. It got to a point where it seemed like every article with the most fleeting mention of the book made it on the site.

Now I'm all for the promotion side but in this case I'm of the opinion that they dropped the ball on not mentioning both other science (one even evolutionary biology for goodness sakes) related episodes.

They regularly mention other programs. Why not these?

If you had bothered taking the time of looking at my profile you would have seen I have been on this site before and I post on here regularly.

Logic would suggest therefore that I might have at least an inkling

There was someone else here on the site giving it that via a different thread yesterday too....what is the matter with some people?

See my comment above Amos. I haven't seen the post you're referring to though sorry. I might not have used those words if I had.

I tried the line of argument on a loud christian many years ago but apparently he couldn't understand that he wasn't a better person because he looked down on everyone else and that I was a better person for not looking down on anyone.... until they declare their prejudice.

I know that''s for a different topic but might I suggest your attitude is no better that the "loud christian" you're belittling in this post?
