A awareness of ageing is also good, if there are things you plan to do which are demanding of health and fitness.
Despite ape-like characteristics, I will probably have to delete high-level tree surgery from my horticultural activities at some point - and probably climb smaller mountains more slowly.
While planning to have financial affairs in order to benefit surviving family members, after old age is reassuring, having a speeding car being ripped apart under you can sharpen the focus of the mind!
