Good fun story! I was in Chelsea one day with my (normally very sensible and down to earth) wife when she suddenly began whimpering loudly, shaking convulsively and visibly melting into a puddle on the pavement - Pierce Brosnan had just got of a car a few meters away (I was unmoved). I would react similarly if Richard Dawkins suddenly arrived in the seat next to me at one of these conferences!
