Schrodinger's Cat: I'll show you metaphysical nothing just as soon as you show me the multiverse.

It may someday be possible to see the effects of collisions of universes in the cosmic background radiation.

But isn't showing "nothing" a violation of the uncertainty principle? Because that "nothing" would have a definite amount of energy (zero) at some definite time.
