Yes, I'd like to join Stafford Gordon in thanking you for linking to that powerful Hitchens piece. Not to sound trite, but nobody can say our hero didn't go down swinging. Christopher's exasperation with Pakistan's own version of the religio-industrial complex is quite palpable (and quite justified, of course). Once again I learned much from this man.
Unfortunately, reading this piece also brought back the crushing realization that there simply won't be any more essays like this one.
