Donohue is a cretin. He was responsible for PZ Myers getting involved in Crackergate some years ago, which in turn caused me to invite PZ to come to speak at the University of Central Florida--an invitation which he gleefully accepted without charge. Donohue and some local clergy made an effort to prevent the appearance and we ended up with a candlelight vigil outside the college auditorium. Great fun.

In the course of following this episode, I developed a great distaste for Donohue. I regard him as intellecually dishonest and psychologically twisted.

So what can we do? Let's write to Delta. I have flown a lot of Delta miles but will switch airlines if they cowtow to a piece of garbage like Donohue. They need to know this.
