I know it's widely regarded as a racial(biological) thing, but it still doesn't make any sense to me.
Why not just call yourself middle-eastern(arabic) american?
Or should that term only apply to israeli jews?
I have a lot of respect for a man like Jon Stewart, but as soon as he starts to talk about his jewish traditions( descent ) I as a human being do not understand why.
Maybe it's just an american thing, but I just don't see the attraction.
PS. I hopes this makes sense.;-)
