My old buddy Chester (of the gimpy right leg) is still around, after 4 or 5 years in the same area. These days he(?) likes to swoop close by me when he flies by. For a while, he and his gang would 'quack' as a sort of greeting. So, I guess that familiar voice observation works both ways.

I once watched a seagull attempt to give soaring lessons to a group of crows. Funny.
