Those of us who do not live in the USA should admire these people, because they are taking genuine risks. Read in "The God Delusion" about the experience of an atheist in the Bible Belt who sought police protection from bigots, and was then physically threatened by the police themselves. I can't quote any actual statistic, but I think it's a safe assumption that Fundamentalists are at least as likely as anyone else to be gun owners.
