L. Harvey Gold's familiar voice definitely makes this excellent video more "authoritative" sounding, and for that reason alone I've already forwarded it to several believers I know.
In fact, I'd surmise that most atheist videos could be made more palatable and impactful to the average viewer using well-known and respected voices from TV and radio, even if these professionals don't have any dog in our fight against religion. Too bad Walter Cronkite isn't around any more -- his voice would have been quite effective, for instance.
