Given the premise that it is very hard to identify "Just Wars" (WW2? any others?) and secular/rationalist/atheists are less likely to want to lay down their lives for a vague patriotism and xenophobic bullshit than our brethren of faith; then it seems that the business of killing and getting killed probably is best left to the credibly delusional. Let them have their bibles.
Callous? Maybe, but then again it could be natural selection at work?
