The problem seems to be that scientifically incompetent teachers are to be permitted to spread their ignorance dressed up as scientific knowledge!

It is good to see that many of the more specifically detailed attempts at pro-creationist/ID legislation failed, but clearly of concern that such nonsense progressed as far as it did in the legislature. - It's one of the hazards of electing monkeys!
