I would have thought it was obvious!

If you make serious or dangerous mistakes, you fail a driving test, are not recognised as capable or qualified, and are not allowed to drive except as training under qualified supervision. Nobody cares if the student or their parents THINK they know better than the examiners!
Learn the correct material and procedures, or fail! Simple choice! Tantrums or no tantrums!
