Why do they need to apply humanity style teaching to sciences?

Even art had its greatest "renaissance" when for the first time in history on a large scale, artists were not bound by religious institutions and instead by private patrons funding them solely for the sake of appreciating art and not as a religious propaganda tool, in 17th century Holland. Great Artists like Frans Hals that invented ala prima technique and Johannes Vermeer with his geometrical gems. It may not seem like a big deal to most people, but moments like that in history are what has shaped deeper thinking. It eventually led to geniuses like Peter Paul Rubens to explore his full potentials. He's probably the first artist in history to have his ass kissed by all the royalty of Europe.
