Something I'm beginning to notice is that the Catholics from the US sound an awful lot like Baptists these days. All that Satan stuff and supporting creationism! I was brought up a Catholic in the sixties, ( not in the US) taught by nuns but we were still taught the theory of evolution. It was regarded as compatible with god.
