I'm from north Dakota and I had an argument wish a man who wants it to pass so he can " raise" his kids the way he wants without the state getting involved. Just think about that a minute.

This seems to me to be one of those laws that is either redundant or awful. If you interpret religious liberty to be freedom to worship as you choose as long as you don't harm others then its redundant, such freedom is already in the US constitution. If it means you can do absolutely anything including beat your children (or rape them if you are a fundamentalist Mormon see the great book Under The Banner of Heaven by Krakauer) then its awful.
