In this sort of case, the phrase, 'hate the sin, not the sinner' seems so appropriate. I really feel sorry for this chap and have sympathy for everything he is going through. And yet... his preaching may have caused other people who doubted the veracity of Christianty to suffer his same mental and emotional wranglings.
I really do hate religion and not the religious. People who spread diseases suffer from those diseases too and I lose hope every day about Humans ever finding a cure for religion. Maybe one day but probably not in my lifetime and I'm only 30.
