One of the arguments I heard against the existence of god is that a loving god would never have created the mosquito. Yet here we have man doing just that.
I remember reading about screw fly eradication a long time go, done by breeding especially promiscuous males and then sterilising them and releasing them. I wonder why this technique would not work for mosquitoes.
