I, being also a Mexican, think that Mexico is a much more agnostic country than the USA. All this thanks to Benito Juarez who kept "el clero" in the closet for a long time. Mexican Catholics are more like cultural Catholics, who go to church because that is what people do on Sundays, but they are not real fanatics. Although there are groups, like the religious Jews or the Legionarios de Cristo, who tear the Biology text books apart so kids don't learn about evolution. Yes, they do.
