Sure, we live in Wales, our kids go to a typical Welsh primary school, we were not consulted as to whether or not we would like our kids to be exposed to the play.

There are various itinerant evangelical groups who try to get bookings in schools presenting their "drama".

In the comic it is stated that God made all the animals as they are today.

I hope you discussed that this is indeed comical, and as fanciful as other fairy tales.
Kids like fairy tales and pantomimes. They help them develop critical thinking, leading to the rejection of Santa, Tooth-fairies, magic wizards, ogres at the top of beanstalks, magic carpets, genies in bottles etc.

Just make sure these stories are included with the others.
